Structure and type of articles

Papel Escena publishes different types of academic and artistic texts in the following sections:

1. Paper Memory: where interviews and reflections on some character or an insignificant situation for the Performing Arts are published. Make a new submission to the section Memoria de Papel.

2. Research Scene: where advances or results of research on creation, teaching in Performing Arts, acting, artistic teaching in theater or cultural dynamization are presented. Length of the document: between 5,000 and 6,000 words, including references. Manuscripts submitted to this section are sent for external review. A new submission must be made to the Research Scene section.

3. Behind the Scene: where essays, reflections and video art by students of the Bachelor's Degree in Performing Arts are published. They can be submitted by teachers of the program or by the students themselves. A new submission must be made to the Behind the Scenes section.

4. Paper premiere: where unpublished librettos (short plays) of recent creation may be submitted. Length: up to 2,500 words. The document must be accompanied by a synopsis (300 words in Spanish and English). Make a new submission to the Paper Premiere section.

5. Paper gallery: space dedicated to a photographic or plastic series, scenographic or costume designs, unpublished photos (photographic essay) on creation and research in art. The document must be accompanied by the name of the proposal and a presentation (300 words in Spanish and English) explaining its relevance and meaning. Make a new submission to the Paper Gallery section.

6. Scene in projection: section dedicated to review the works produced during the year by the faculty in their academic programs. Make a new submission to the Scene in Projection section.
