Papel Escena is a peer-reviewed journal. It follows the editorial guidelines and adjusts the editorial process to the conditions of the Open Journal System. Additionally, it includes ethical considerations to ensure a transparent editorial process (http://www.icmje.org/recommendations/) and therefore follows the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) (http://publicationethics.org) and follows the guidelines for article retraction (https://publicationethics.org/news/copes-retraction-guidelines-2019) . The members of the editorial committee and the editorial process are completely independent from the Instituto Departamental de Bellas Artes.
